In-Office Phlebotomist
Location: Gardner, KS
Schedule: M-F 8-5

Solaris Diagnostics is seeking a reliable, skilled, and patient-focused In-Office Phlebotomist to join our clinical team. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality phlebotomy services directly within our clinic setting. You’ll perform accurate blood draws, maintain specimen integrity, and ensure every patient receives exceptional, compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures with precision, ensuring positive patient identification and proper specimen labeling.
- Deliver an exceptional patient experience through professionalism, empathy, and clear communication.
- Maintain specimen quality through proper handling, storage, and transport procedures according to Solaris Diagnostics protocols.
- Follow laboratory and clinic safety standards to ensure a clean, compliant, and hazard-free work environment.
- Accurately document patient demographics, tests, and specimen details using LIMS
- Maintain phlebotomy supplies, equipment, and workspace organization.
- Collaborate closely with lab personnel, providers, and other clinic staff to support efficient workflow.
- Adhere to all HIPAA, health, safety, and Solaris Diagnostics policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- 1 year of phlebotomy experience (clinical/outpatient preferred).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow protocols with strong attention to detail.
Preferred:
- National Phlebotomy Certification (ASCP, NHA, PBT, or equivalent).
- Experience in a clinic or diagnostic laboratory environment.
