The Essentials:

What You'll Do:
- Oversees daily clinic operations and staff, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. They support patient care by providing guidance, resolving issues, and maintaining smooth workflows. Responsibilities include interviewing and evaluating staff, managing resources, and stepping in as leader when management is absent.
- Manage daily workflow, staff schedules, and approve time in the payroll system. Participate in interviewing, hiring, and annual performance evaluations. Delegate work effectively and provide leadership to ensure results.
- Train, educate, and evaluate staff. Resolve employee issues and administer discipline with HR assistance. Implement programs to improve patient flow and clinical efficiency.
- Assist the Manager with quality assurance, quality control, and staff evaluation. Maintain collaborative relationships with the manager, physicians and other departments; demonstrate flexibility and implement improvements. Provide guidance for Orthopaedic patients and guests throughout all phases of care; advocate and coordinate patient care during and after the CCOC experience.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Experience: Strong leadership qualities and the ability to take initiative in a healthcare setting, along with experience in medical practice operations within a clinic, hospital, or healthcare environment. Orthopaedic experience is strongly preferred.
- Skills: Strong understanding of medical terminology. Proficient in computer applications and adaptable to learning new software systems.
- License/Certifications: Active clinical licensure or certification to practice in Ohio is required (e.g., LPN, ATC, MA, RT). BLS certification is required. MA certification is required within six (6) months if not already held; individuals with other qualifying credentials are not required to obtain an MA certification.
