Clinic Psychotherapist-Yiddish Speaking -FFS

Ohel is seeking experienced a Yiddish speaking mental health professionals to join innovative, growth oriented and family centered clinical environment in Midwood/ Flatbush.  Join our team that is passionate about providing excellence in treatment, utilizing the latest evidence based and cutting edge practice models.  Our values include fostering a learning, growing teaching environment; and making quality mental health integrated care accessible to those who need it.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and family psychotherapy on-site to children, adults and families
• Utilize evidence based practice models in treatment
• Maintain full caseload of kept weekly appointments
• Document progress and results of treatment in a timely manner

Skills:

• Warm, empathic personality and excellent communication skills
• Cultural competence, ideally representative of the cultural and ethnic populations most likely encountered in Brooklyn
• Excellent interpersonal personnel and organizational skills
• Documentation, assessment and writing skills
• Ability to perform multiple tasks
• Ability to work effectively as part of the clinical team
• Motivated and makes efficient use of time to maximize direct service time

Additional information:

• Must have a license or limited permit in the state of NY (MSW, LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, MHC, LMFT, MFT, LCAT)
• Experience in evidence based model is a plus (excellent training and supervision provided)
• Must be fluent in Yiddish 
• Two evenings or one Sunday and one evening is required

Salary: $55.00-$80.00 per session commensurate with experience; additional incentive payments for performance provided. Sign on Bonus provided!
