Job Overview

Come join our highly-skilled team of dermatologists and advanced practice nurses specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of skin problems and diseases in both adult and pediatric patients. As a regional referral center for skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, they detect more than 600 cases of skin cancer each month. Deaconess Dermatology, a department of Deaconess Hospital, has expert providers that are committed to providing patients with the highest quality and most comprehensive dermatological care. This is available through their extensive experience in dermatologic surgery, laser treatments, cosmetic evaluations and surgery, skin pathology and leading-edge research. Our dermatology team also understands how factors such as sun exposure, hormonal status, genetics, and coexisting health problems can have dramatic impacts on your skin, hair, and nails over time.

Education and Experience

• Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program required.

• Experience preferred but not required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Current certification/license from one of the below:

• Certified Medical Assistant- American Association of Medical Assistants

• Registered Medical Assistant- American Medical Technologist

• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant- National Health career Association

• National Certified Medical Assistant- National Center for Competency Testing

• Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant- National Association for Health Professionals

• Registered Medical Assistant- American Allied Health

• Certified Medical Assistant Clinical- American Medical Certification Association

• Active LPN license in state of employment

• Active RN license in state of employment

• CPR provider certification required.

Location: Deaconess Dermatology in downtown, Evansville, Indiana

Schedule: Monday-Thursday

Shift: Days, 7-5 - OFF on Friday

Hours: 40 per week

Pay Scales:

CMA/RMA: $19.14 to $26.79

Clinic LPN: $22.32 to $31.25

Clinic RN: $26.04 to $36.45
