What You'll Do
The Clinical Team Leader, MA/LPN provides team leader responsibilities for the clinic. This position ensures compliance with regulatory, accreditation standards and Adena Health System policies and procedures. The incumbent provides direction for the clinical staff and participates in the workload as needed within his/her professional scope. The incumbent may also provide direction to clerical staff as needed. Decisions are made independently and/or in collaboration with the Manager, Clinic Staff and Operations and/or Director. This position has access to confidential information and functions under the direction of the Manager, Clinic Staff and Operations and/or Director.
Minimum Qualifications
Required Educational Degree: Graduate of an Accredited Program in
Major/Area of Concentration: Medical Assistant OR LPN
Preferred Education:
Required Certifications, Credentials and Licenses: Certified Medical Assistant registered through American Allied Health (AAH), American Medical Technologists (AMT), Certified through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or National Healthcare Association (NHA) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current Ohio License. De-escalation training within 6 months. Basic Life Support.
Preferred Certifications, Credentials and Licenses:
Required Experience: 1-2 years related work experience in a medical office setting
Preferred Experience: 3-5 years related work experience in a medical office setting. 1-2 years ICD-9 & CPT coding
