The Teresa Caine School of Nursing at High Point University invites applications for a part-time (Adjunct Instructor) nursing faculty position starting in the spring semester of 2025. The Adjunct Instructor will have a strong teaching and clinical background in Adult Health/Medical Surgical Nursing and will utilize the nursing process to teach professional nursing skills in a clinical setting under the direction of the Founding Dean, the lead course faculty, and the clinical coordinator. Responsibilities include clinical practicum instruction, clinical learning simulation exercises, documentation of students' progress, and adherence to the Teresa Caine School of Nursing guidelines and policies along with those of the respective clinical agency. This clinical practicum focuses on adult populations with complex multisystem health conditions. Emphasis is on the prioritization and coordination of interdisciplinary care, systems-based practices, and nursing leadership during clinical judgment and decision-making processes in clinical and simulated practice environments.
