Job Summary
The Analyst II, Clinical Aesthetician supports all activities in the Skincare Clinical Research & Innovation Center (SCRIC), including operational activities, clinical studies, and case studies supporting skincare products and materials. This individual determines and pursues courses of action necessary to meet clinical goals and objectives. The incumbent is responsible for participant care and administration of cosmetic/aesthetic procedures following skincare and clinical research protocols and Good Clinical Practices. Responsibilities include utilizing clinical expertise and instrumentation (camera systems, spectrophotometers, etc.) to evaluate participants, creating source documents and participant forms, supporting recruitment activities, authoring and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and treatment protocols, supporting data management and image analysis activities, presenting clinical research data, maintaining product inventory and equipment, and managing adverse event reporting, medical inquiries, and general medical affairs issues as appropriate.
- Support operational activities, clinical studies, and case studies.
- Provide participant care and perform cosmetic/aesthetic procedures according to research protocols.
- Evaluate study participants using clinical expertise and instrumentation.
- Create source documents and participant chart forms.
- Support participant recruitment activities.
- Author and maintain SOPs and treatment protocols.
- Perform data entry, quality control, data analysis, and graph creation.
- Organize, export, and analyze clinical study images.
- Compile and present clinical research data.
- Maintain product inventory and research equipment/instrumentation.
- Support adverse event reporting and medical affairs activities as needed.
Required Skills
- Valid California Aesthetician license (or equivalent/higher).

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (Science field preferred).
- Valid California Aesthetician license (or equivalent/higher).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Licensed Aesthetician.

- Clinical research experience.
- Experience with clinical instrumentation, imaging systems, and related technology.
