Position Summary
The Clinical Aide supports the clinical team by maintaining treatment and examination areas, restocking supplies, assisting with patient flow, administrative support, and ensuring the clinic remains organized, clean, and prepared for daily operations. This position is ideal for individuals pursuing careers in healthcare, nursing, radiology, physical therapy, medical assisting, or other allied health professions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist clinical staff with patient preparation and clinic workflow activities.
- Restock treatment rooms, examination areas, and supply stations.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe patient care environments.
- Assist with inventory management and supply monitoring.
- Support patient intake activities as permitted by company policy and applicable regulations.
- Transport equipment and supplies throughout the facility as needed.
- Assist with routine clinic maintenance and operational tasks.
- Adhere to all HIPAA, privacy, safety, infection control, and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrate professionalism and excellent customer service when interacting with patients and staff.
- Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of training and organizational policy.
Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Preferred
- Previous healthcare, customer service, or clinical experience.
- Coursework in healthcare, biology, kinesiology, nursing, radiology, or related fields.
- Interest in pursuing a healthcare career.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to push carts and equipment when necessary.
- Sufficient manual dexterity to perform assigned duties safely and efficiently.
Exposure & Compliance
- Potential exposure to hazardous substances and bloodborne pathogens.
- Access to Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Required participation in all mandatory compliance, safety, and privacy training.
- Must follow all company policies, procedures, and applicable federal and state regulations.
