My client is a global leader in hemostasis diagnostics, and this role puts you at the center of the science - partnering with labs across Northern and Central California to implement, optimize, and elevate coagulation testing programs. This is a rare opportunity for a coag-savvy MT to step into a field-facing role where your clinical expertise directly shapes patient care outcomes across a wide portfolio of advanced hemostasis assays.
Why you should apply
- Deep clinical impact - your expertise in hemostasis testing directly improves lab performance and patient outcomes at every account you touch
- Work with a recognized global brand in a specialty that demands real subject-matter expertise - not a generic device rep role
- Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, FSA, 401k, PTO, life and disability insurance, and a generous leave program
- Base salary $75,000 - $90,000 (CA), plus bonus eligibility and a car allowance program
- Autonomy to manage your own territory while staying connected to a collaborative cross-functional team
What you'll be doing
- Leading on-site and remote implementation, method verification, and reagent validation for laboratory customers across the territory
- Delivering training and competency support for bench techs, super users, and supervisors - in person and through digital tools
- Troubleshooting complex application and workflow issues, from LIS connectivity and middleware rules to QC trends and reflex logic
- Serving as a hemostasis subject-matter expert across a broad assay menu: PT/INR, aPTT, Anti-Xa, D-Dimer, fibrinogen, lupus anticoagulants, and specialty assays
- Partnering with sales on demos, reference visits, and business reviews - acting as the technical and clinical voice in the room
About you
- Be able to do the job as described.
- MT(ASCP) certification (or equivalent) with hands-on coagulation bench experience
- Solid working knowledge of CLSI validation protocols, Westgard/QC rules, IQCP, and CAP/CLIA compliance frameworks
- Comfortable in a high-travel, field-based role (80%+ travel including overnight stays)
- Located in or near the San Francisco Bay Area, San Jose, Oakland, Modesto, or Fresno, CA
