A community services organization in New York City is seeking a new Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), and/or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) to join their team as a Clinical Assessment Specialist.
About the Opportunity:
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8am to 5pm or 8:30am to 5:30pm
Responsibilities:
Orienting clients to the program
Collecting and managing documentation for Clinical Assessments
Conducting participant interviews and evaluations
Documenting client services in management systems
Performing outreach for client appointments
Qualifications:
2 years of related work experience
Master's Degree
One of the following NYS licensures: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), and/or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT)
Mental and Behavioral Health experience
Computer savvy (Able to type 40 wpm)
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office
Strong communication skills
Organizational abilities
Detail-oriented
Desired Qualifications:
Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Experience working with the Substance Abuse and/or IDD population
Proficiency in proprietary EMRs
