Position Summary The Assessor position is a key member of the Behavioral Health Team, responsible for conducting comprehensive diagnostic assessments for adults who are seeking services or have been referred from a variety of community settings. The Assessor prepares thorough diagnostic evaluations by building meaningful relationships, actively engaging clients in the assessment process, and contributing to a collaborative, team-based approach to care. Working closely with behavioral health professionals and community service providers, the Assessor develops individualized treatment recommendations tailored to each client’s unique needs. This role partners with case management staff to ensure recommended services are effectively implemented, including short-term crisis intervention and appropriate linkages to ongoing community supports. If you enjoy building strong therapeutic relationships, engaging clients in meaningful assessment conversations, and working as part of a supportive, collaborative team dedicated to high-quality service delivery, the Assessor role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of others and the community. In addition to office-based services, the Assessor may conduct evaluations in community settings such as local hospitals, area shelters, and the Hamilton County Justice Center.
