Advertising Copy The Department of Nursing in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences (CNHS) at the University of Vermont (UVM) invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track position at the rank of clinical assistant/associate professor to serve as a clinical faculty member and Department of Nursing Director of Simulation Education.
In addition to contributing to the teaching mission of the department, this position provides strategic administrative and faculty leadership for all simulation-based education within the Department of Nursing, including low-, medium-, and high-fidelity simulation. This is a 10-month appointment.

The College of Nursing and Health Sciences The College of Nursing and Health Sciences serves approximately 1,200 students across undergraduate and graduate programs and is deeply committed to interprofessional education, clinical excellence, and educational innovation. The College brings together multiple health professions in a collaborative academic environment that prepares graduates to work effectively in team-based, patient-centered care settings. CNHS emphasizes experiential learning, simulation-based education, community engagement, and the integration of emerging technologies to prepare students for the evolving healthcare landscape.
The Department The successful candidate will join a dynamic and supportive Department of Nursing committed to excellence in clinical teaching, student mentorship, and innovative nursing education. The Department includes approximately 40 full-time and 40 part-time clinical faculty who work collaboratively to educate a vibrant and diverse student body of more than 500 undergraduate students and over 100 graduate students. Academic offerings include an undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Direct Entry Masters program, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program, including a direct entry option.
