Connections in Ohio, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated, organized, individual for a great opportunity working with developmentally delayed clients. We are hiring a Clinical Assistant to support our teams with the areas of medication management, medical appointments, and other health and safety needs. This person must be able to demonstrate proficiency in time management, prioritization, and client documentation in a fast-paced environment.

This position requires flexible availability, a reliable vehicle, and a willingness to travel up to 75% (Cuyahoga County) of the time worked. This includes dropping medication off to sites and running clients to appointments. Reimbursement for eligible travel.

Position Description:

· The Clinical Assistant is responsible for the delivery of medication, scheduling of appointments, transporting clients to appointments and other health related needs for clients served by Connections in Ohio, Inc.

· Ensure effective communication with physicians, pharmacies, therapist and other health related professionals.

· Maintain "on call" responsibilities for medical issues within designated caseload. Could include evenings/weekends. 

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent where required by local rule.

2. Highly organized and effective in meeting all task/timelines related to client's wellness.

3. Understanding of medication administration & health related activities.

4. Excellent communication skills.

5. Proficient knowledge of iPhone, Windows, and Microsoft Office including:  OneDrive, Excel, Word, Routing texting/phone calls, Google Calendar

5. A valid Ohio driver’s license with 4 points or less on the individuals BMV driving record

6. A safe, reliable vehicle coupled with state minimum required auto insurance covering that specific vehicle

Pay: $25.00 per hour
