The School of Pharmacy invites applications for a clinical track position at the Assistant / Associate Professor rank.Teaching responsibilities include both didactic teaching and hands-on simulations; academic advising of students; participation in ongoing curriculum development and assessment; committee work at both the college and university level; and scholarly/research activity in the candidate's area of expertise.
Location MUSOP - Marshall University School of Pharmacy (Kopp Hall) Salary Range Salary is commensurate upon education, experience and internal equity

Required Qualifications
Education
Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD)
Experience
Must have completed a PGY-1 residency or academic fellowship or have at least 3 years comparable clinic experience. Must hold certification, or be eligible to sit for a board certification exam (BPS, CGP, CDE, or other relevant certification). Must hold, or be eligible for, pharmacist licensure in West Virginia (must obtain to hold position). Must be licensed, or eligible for licensure, in West Virginia as a pharmacist immunizer. Require a commitment to education excellence, encouraging, encouraging engagement in the learning process, and research collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
Education Experience
Hold at least one board certification (BCPS, BCACP, BCOP, etc.). Have completed a PGY-1 residency or academic fellowship and/or have at least 4 years of experience in education and pharmacy practice by the employment start date. Teaching expertise (didactic and/or experiential), particularly lab and simulation instruction, and inter-professional education with a school of pharmacy, is highly desired. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal teamwork skills needed. Significant knowledge and expertise in advanced pharmacy practice and evidence-based medicine. Significant general clinical knowledge and expertise in traditional therapeutics and patient-centered care. We are searching for faculty with expertise in one or multiple of the following pharmacy specialty disciplines: acute care or internal medicine, hematology/oncology, endocrinology, addiction, or pharmacist care in special populations.
