    Job Description

    The Department of Ophthalmology at UT Southwestern Medical Center is expanding and seeks an outstanding Glaucoma-trained Ophthalmologist for a position as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or full Professor. Positions include busy medical/surgical practices at our main campus faculty practice and at our major affiliated teaching hospitals as well as teaching/supervising residents and fellows at our affiliated teaching hospitals. Candidates should have an MD degree and be board-certified or board-eligible in ophthalmology, have completed a fellowship, be trained in glaucoma, and be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Texas. Interests should be primarily glaucoma with or without comprehensive ophthalmology or other subspecialty interests, with a desire to participate in glaucoma research. Also, this position will provide high quality fellow, resident, and medical student didactic clinical training.

    We seek an outstanding individual with an MD degree who is board-certified or board-eligible in ophthalmology with a Texas Medical License.
