Job Summary

The Daniels School of Business at Purdue University invites applications for Clinical Associate/Full Professor position in Finance for an August 2027 start date.

About the Clinical Associate/Full Professor Position

The program has significant resources and is seeking people with an innovative, mission-driven, and collaborative mindset.

The Clinical Professor will:

• Teach in multiple areas of finance at the undergraduate and graduate level.
• Serve as a faculty/academic advisor for academies/clubs/programs within the area(s) of finance that are most relevant to the candidate's experience and interests.
• Assist with events and programming as needed to advance the finance program.

Qualified candidates must have:

• A Ph.D. degree in Finance or related field by start date.
• Experience communicating finance-related concepts to students, academic colleagues, and/or professional audiences through teaching, presentations, publications, or professional activities.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Evidence of past collaborations between industry and academia
• Some industry experience at financial institutions
• Prior teaching, mentorship, or training experience that translates well to the classroom.
• Shows initiative in maintaining up-to-date knowledge with the latest finance industry practices and relevant academic research.
