1. Clinical Assurance & Scope of Practice:
Provide clinical assurance across Health Solutions programmes, ensuring clinical and non-clinical colleagues operate within agreed competencies, professional standards, delegated authority and scope of practice.
2. Partnership & System Working:
Develop and maintain effective relationships with local authorities, NHS organisations, community providers, voluntary sector organisations and other stakeholders to support integrated pathways and improve participant access to appropriate services.
3. Governance, Quality & Safeguarding:
Support governance arrangements including safeguarding, quality assurance, incident management, audit activities, risk management and continuous improvement initiatives.
4. Pathway Design & Optimisation:
Work collaboratively with operational, clinical and partner organisations to develop, review and optimise health-informed pathways, escalation processes and referral routes that support positive participant outcomes.
5. Workforce Capability & Safe Practice:
Support workforce development through training, coaching, guidance and assurance activities that promote safe practice, professional boundaries and consistent delivery of health-informed interventions.
6. Clinical Advice & Escalation Frameworks:
Provide expert advice on clinical governance, professional standards, escalation processes and safe service delivery, ensuring appropriate management of safeguarding concerns, red flags and clinical safety issues.
7. Reporting, Audit & Continuous Improvement:
Produce assurance reports, monitor trends, review incidents and feedback, and support quality improvement activities that strengthen service effectiveness and governance arrangements.
