Clinical Audiologist (PRN) 101 Truman Medical Center Job Location: University Health 1 (UH1) Kansas City, Missouri Department: UH1 Audiology UHTMC Position Type: Part time Work Schedule: 8:00AM - 4:30PM Hours Per Week: 4

Job Description

Provides Audiology services to patients. Plans, organizes and conducts medically prescribed audiology programs to all patient populations in order to facilitate/restore the communicative, cognitive, and/or other related function on all appropriate patient populations. Provides direction to service providers as needed and audiology students. Works independently, seeks supervision when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Develops assigned projects, programs and protocols.
  • Coordinates Audiology Student / Intern program with designated schools.

Requirements

  • Degree and graduation from an accredited audiology program
  • Maintain Missouri Audiology License
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency from the Audiology Association
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a Audiologist in a hospital setting
  • Verbal and written communication skills required to discuss and document treatment programs and work issues
  • Must maintain certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support for continued employment.
