Clinical Care LVN/LPN Float Compensation

• Pay rate: $37.17/hr
• Benefits: Available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• 401(k): 401(k) with company match available after 1 year of service on eligibility dates

Clinical Care LVN/LPN Float Highlights

• Contract assignment (temporary) with potential to be hired permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Required availability/schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday ( 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM , 9.5-hour shifts)
• Weekend requirement: Every third weekend
• Holiday requirement: Willing to work on some major holidays

Clinical Care LVN/LPN Float Responsibilities

• Administer vaccinations and injections (including influenza, COVID, and TB test placements)
• Obtain vital signs
• Provide emergency support in collaboration with the onsite provider during emergent situations
• Perform patient registration, intake, and checkout
• Support waiting room flow and patient experience (outreach/reminder calls, scheduling, chaperoning as needed)
• Prepare clinic and waiting space to support a positive patient experience
• Provide evidence-based vaccine counseling and education to patients/parents

Clinical Care LVN/LPN Float Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
• Full, active, unrestricted LVN/LPN license
• BLS certification (must be valid beyond the start date requirement set by the client)
• Minimum 1 year related work experience in a healthcare setting
• Prior experience administering immunizations/injections and providing vaccine counseling/education
• Able to document in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) (EPIC preferred)
• Able to take vital signs
• Able to work the required schedule, including weekend/holiday coverage as listed above

Clinical Care LVN/LPN Float Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room
• Familiarity navigating EPIC
