Schedule: Full Time Days 7:00am - 7:00pm

Department: Novant Health Extended Care

Location: Clemmons, NC - Tanglewood

What Youll Do • Assist in the coordination and delivery of patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians • Supporting rooming, vital signs and patient preparation • Maintaining a safe and clean care environment

While CNA I and CNA II professionals can work under the license of a physician or advanced practice provider (APP), per North Carolina Board of Nursing requirements, they must: • Complete a minimum of 8 hours every 24 months of direct supervision by a registered nurse (RN) employed at the clinic • Make arrangements to complete this requirement at a sister Novant Health Medical Group (NHMG) clinic location

What Were Looking For Education: High School or GED required

Experience: • Two years preferred • Acute experience for CNA 1 • One year preferred - CNA2 or EMT • One year preferred - Experience in healthcare setting or Physician Assistant or medical school student enrolled in an accredited program or gap year

Licensure/Certification: • (required): NA I in good standing within the NA registry; OR NA II in good standing with NA II certification with required state; OR EMT current credential in appropriate state; OR One year clinical (medical) office experience; OR Physician Assistant or Medical School student enrolled in accredited program or in gap year

Additional Skills/Requirements (required): • Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing • Basic computer skills for documentation
