Clinical Care Specialist Team Lead

We are seeking a Clinical Care Specialist Team Lead to join our team at Independent Living Systems (ILS). About the Role:

The Clinical Care Specialist Team Lead plays an essential role in overseeing and enhancing the delivery of member-centered clinical services. The Clinical Care Specialist Team Lead is responsible for supporting a team of clinical care specialists to ensure high-quality, efficient, and compassionate care that meets established clinical standards and regulatory requirements. The Clinical Care Specialist Team Lead will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans, monitor member outcomes, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. By fostering a supportive and educational environment, The Clinical Care Specialist Team Lead ensures that team members are well-equipped with the latest clinical knowledge and best practices. Ultimately, this role drives the achievement of optimal member health outcomes while maintaining operational excellence and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related clinical field.
• 3 years of experience in clinical care, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Current and valid professional licensure or certification relevant to clinical care (e.g., RN license).
• Strong knowledge of clinical care standards, healthcare regulations, and member safety protocols.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and clinical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary clinical teams in a healthcare services environment.
• Certification in leadership or management (e.g., Certified Nurse Manager and Leader - CNML).
• Familiarity with quality improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Experience with member care coordination and case management.

• Monitor member progress and outcomes, adjusting strategies as necessary to improve effectiveness.
• Facilitate ongoing training and professional development opportunities for team members to maintain clinical competency.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize resource utilization and enhance member care delivery.
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of clinical activities and member information in compliance with privacy regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
