Vida Y Salud-Health Systems Inc. a Federally Qualified Health Center FQHC is currently seeking an individual to fill a full-time position for a Clinical Coordinator.Requirements PCarry out health planning monitoring and evaluation research policy analysis policy development coordination and associated development of project as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer and the Medical Director. This position works closely with the Medical Director physicians mid-levels and mid-managers to improve clinical operations throughout the practice and is the Liaison between Administration and Medical. Responsible for the operation and services of all clinic programs compliance. Under general direction plans develops and implements policies and procedures for the medical department and assists other clinic staff with the development of policies and procedure accordingly exercising independent judgment and making recommendations for the overall clinic for a smoother operation coordinate clinic activities and monitors compliance. Responsible for oversight staff scheduling medial appointments and medical records. Responsible for evaluating developing updating implementing coordinating and supervising all activities of VSHSIs manual and electronic agency-wide patient Medical Records Registration and Appointment System to ensure compliance with local state & federal lawsregulations and required in-house reporting. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all Joint Commission Accreditation requirements related to Management of Medical Information. Responsible for the management and provision of services of the Enabling Services Department. Under general direction plans develops and implements policies and procedures for the Enabling Services Department supervises department activities coordinate services and assures compliance and other duties as listed on the job description.Excellent writing and verbal communication skills. Strong organization and time-management skills considerable initiative judgment and leadership skills driven by quality care standard and project management skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish is also preferred.Education and ExperienceHBachelors degree in related field or two 2 years of college andor experience in medical setting or combination of related education and experience is required. Two years experience in a health care environment experience in team leadership and facilitation. Experience in developing and implementing program evaluation processes. Working knowledge of personal computers word processing spreadsheet presentation project management and database software preferred.
