Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary clinical administrator for the Lippincott competency platform
  • Manage & coordinate competency assignments for new clinical employees based on role
  • Assist with managing & coordinating operational activities related to new employee orientation.
  • Assist with managing processes and workflow associated with new employee orientation.
  • Support clinical orientation needs throughout the hospital.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Coordinators throughout the health system to develop education and competencies for clinical staff.
  • Attend and participate in new employee orientation coordination meeting.
  • Assist with preceptor education for Lippincott portion of competency sign offs.

Requirements

  • Current R.N. licensure in Ohio (must be maintained)
  • Current CPR card and maintain.
  • Obtain/maintain ECG rhythm recognition.
  • Maintain knowledge of new technology and equipment
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Successful candidate must have excellent critical thinking skills.
  • LMH is accredited by DNV and TJC, and as such, may require specific annual education related to specialty certifications and standards.
