Job Description Summary:
Clinical coord RN for fast paced high volume
Position Responsibilities
- Able to assist Medical assistant, LPN, RN, APRN and physicians with pharmacy refills, preathorizations, and laboratory results and in basket messages in a timely matter.
- Ensure assigned responsibilities are completed by deadline
- Is able work with leaders to ensure adequate staffing levels and the most efficient organization and use of resources
- Able to communicate with the patient and family the care plan and answer questions about treatment according to the scope of practice.
- Promote and educate staff and their support systems on new strategies, medications, and scheduled procedures.
- Recognize and embrace diversity in patient education to enhance safety and ensure high-quality care.
- Utilizing appropiate resource to provide safe and effective communication to all service lines.
- Actively engages in PI Team initiative
- Participate in planing, presenting and documenting inservice with service lines
- Helps with clinical staff skills annually peer evaluation
- Adheres to/and complies will all regulatory standard globally to profession and specialties
- Understand the importance of teamwork by mainitaning communication and positive working relationships with clinical staff and physicians
Qualifications
License/Registration/Certification
- Current FL Nursing License, Current Basic Life Support - CPR Certification,
Education
- RN License required. Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
Experience
- 1- 3 years practical experience preferred
