Position Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for delivering exceptional, patient-focused care while overseeing all unit operations. Collaborating closely with the management team, the CNC assesses and monitors nursing care in line with established protocols. This role also serves as a vital resource for staff, ensuring an outstanding patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, assess, customize, and provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Facilitate admission and discharge processes.
  • Work alongside subject matter experts and leadership to enhance outcomes and service quality.
  • Offer coaching, feedback, and training to boost staff performance and engagement.
  • Assist in staff scheduling.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
  • Possession of a current RN license in Virginia or a multistate compact license.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within six months of starting employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
