WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AS OUR CLINICAL DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

This role plays an integral part in improving diagnostic abilities, driving clinical advancements, and optimizing imaging workflow and performance for end-users. Youll think analytically to identify areas for improvement and implement methods to meet goals and advance strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities include but arent limited to:

  • Building relationships with clinician application leaders in alignment with company targets and objectives.
  • Traveling as needed to observe on-site workflows and gain insight into clinician outcome requirements.
  • Evaluating workflow and visualization goals for targeted applications.
  • Performing clinical research to help understand design requirements.
  • Helping define clinical requirements related to the realization process.
  • Collaborating with product realization teams and performing validation tests to ensure products are safe, effective, and appropriate for user needs.
  • Creating and maintaining related documents, plans, research reports, studies, and more.
  • Educating users on technology trends, workflows, and best practices.
  • Gathering, analyzing, and presenting data from studies and evaluations.
  • Supporting product education initiatives to ensure seamless adoption and utilization.

CLINICAL DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST CRITERIA

You need at least one of the following:

  • Completion of a 3-year program in diagnostic medical sonography or ultrasound technology.
  • Completion of a 2- to 3-year program in a related allied health field AND a 1-year post-diploma program in diagnostic medical sonography from an accredited institution.

You also need all of the following:

  • ARDMS or equivalent certification in abdomen OR two additional active general imaging or vascular credentials.
  • 5 years of related experience operating ultrasound equipment in a clinical or medical setting.
  • 2 years of direct experience in R&D ultrasound image optimization and system development for general imaging applications (abdominal, small parts, vascular, pediatrics, etc.).
  • Clinical ultrasound teaching experience.
  • Commercial ultrasound system installation experience.
  • Residence in or willingness to relocate to the St. Louis area.
  • Proficient English communication skills.
