Job Description:
Functions in a leadership role as a unit-based clinical resource and educator. Responsible for:
• Staff development orientation and onboarding • Competency patient education • Quality improvement • Supports established standards of care and practice through:
• Training staff development • Clinical improvement activities • Patient-staff education • Serves as a role model of clinical excellence in nursing knowledge and clinical practice.
Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS Bachelor of Science from an accredited school of nursing Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations Two 2 years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse RN Two 2 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in the clinical specialty Must hold Certified in American Heart Associations Basic Cardiac Life Support BLS Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units PREFERRED Additional Life Support credential ACLS PALS NRP etc. or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
