The Clinical Dietician role at our client involves providing clinical nutrition support, care, and information to patients and staff. The position requires proficiency in operating various equipment, maintaining attendance, and physical agility to respond to patient care needs. A Bachelor's degree in Food & Nutrition or Dietetics is required, along with relevant certifications and licenses.
Key Responsibilities
To provide clinical nutrition support, care and information to patients and staff of our client.
Proficiently operates calculator, computer, PowerPoint, telephone, copy machine, fax machine
Able to read, write legibly, and converse in the English language
Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location
Able to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
Possess physical agility and adequate reaction time to respond quickly and appropriately to unexpected patient care needs
Needs adequate hearing and visual acuity, including adequate color vision
Requires fine motor skills, adequate eye-hand coordination, and ability to grasp and handle objects
Able to use proper body mechanics to assist patients in ambulating, transferring in and out of bed, chair or wheelchair
May be required to lift up to 50 pounds
Must use standard precautions due to threat of exposure to blood and bodily fluids
Needs ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing, and speaking in person or on telephone
May require periodic use of personal computer
Schedule and Shift Details
80 Hours Per Pay Period // Days 4 10-hour shifts
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher
Valid Regular Driver License (DL) in the state of Oregon (OR)
ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) in Oregon (OR)
