Clinical Dietician Job Details

• Pay Range: $38-$43 per hour
• Location: Openings in Erie, PA, South Mountain, PA, and Summit, PA
• Shift: Variable based on location. 37.5-40 hours per week
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. Licensed Dietician Required

Clinical Dietician Responsibilities

• Participate in the coordination, inspection, and evaluation of the therapeutic diet program while maintaining HIPAA standards.
• Support and develop the goals and objectives of the Dietary Department or Food Services Division.
• Record and maintain dietary assessments and progress notes in medical records.
• Plan and modify standard and therapeutic diet menus in accordance with physician prescriptions.
• Provide guidance and direction to lower level dietetic staff regarding residents' nutritional care.
• Consult and collaborate with medical professionals, including speech pathologists, as needed.
• Complete nutritional discharge plans and provide resident instruction prior to discharge on therapeutic diets.

Clinical Dietician Qualifications:

• Baccalaureate degree from a U.S. regionally accredited college or university or foreign equivalent.
• Completion of a supervised practice program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE).
• Successful completion of the Registration Examination for Dietitians.
• Current state license in Pennsylvania.
