Clinical Dietician

Location: Webster, TX

Pay Rate: Starting at $39.54 hourly (based on experience)

Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm | Monday-Friday

Dean's Professional Services is actively seeking a Clinical Dietician to join our healthcare team. This role involves assessing, planning, and implementing nutritional care for patients while providing education and support tailored to individual needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develops, implements and evaluates patient nutritional care plans.
• Provides age-appropriate assessments of all patients identified at nutrition risk to include diabetes management and education per established timeframe/guidelines.
• Adapts nutrition plan to specific economic, social, cultural, and age-appropriate patient needs.
• Reassess patients at appropriate intervals and adjusts plan of care as warranted.
• Provides age appropriate education to support the nutritional plan of care.
• Assesses learning needs and readiness to learn for all patients/families.
• Participates in the development and review of education materials and department resources to meet the needs of the populations served.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 2+ years of pediatric nutrition experience preferred
• Knowledge of nutrition, medical nutrition therapy, and pediatric care.
• Ability to identify nutritional deficiencies, make recommendations, and educate others.
• Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and nutrition software.

Education & Certification:

• Bachelor's Degree - Required
• Registered Dietitian and Licensed in the State of Texas
• RD - Registered Dietitian (Commission on Dietetic Registration) - Required
• LD - Licensed Dietitian (Texas Department of Licensing) - Required
