A Clinical Dietitian II develops and delivers medical nutrition therapy to patients based on patient needs and standard processes. Assesses nutritional status, determines nutritional requirements, and sets appropriate goals according to established standards. Institutes appropriate type of nutrition support, evaluates outcome of medical nutritional therapy. Adjusts medical nutrition therapy by recommending and initiates appropriate changes in delivery of nutrients to achieve established outcomes. Provides appropriate nutrition intervention and education/ instruction to patients/ families.
Clinical Dietitian II - Inpatient/Outpatient Leukemia Services: Provides comprehensive medical nutrition therapy to pediatric patients in the inpatient and outpatient Leukemia services, including nutrition assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, and education. Collaborates with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement evidence-based nutrition care plans that promote optimal patient outcomes. Participates in quality improvement initiatives and monitors quality measures to advance clinical nutrition practice, enhance patient care, and support departmental and organizational goals. Eventually, able to provide cross-coverage for additional inpatient and outpatient clinical services as needed to support departmental operations.

Compensation
In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $60,320 - $105,040 per year for the role of Clinical Dietitian II.
