We're looking for a Clinical Dietitian who brings both expertise and heart to their work. The ideal candidate will be:

Position Summary
The Dietitian develops and implements nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy using established standards of care and practice protocols/guidelines. This position works closely with the interdisciplinary health care team to provide medical nutrition therapy and services that are integrated and compatible with the patient's medical program goals and objectives.
Provides high quality, evidence-based, efficient, customer-focused medical nutrition therapy, including nutrition screening, assessment, care planning and education for appropriate nutrition intervention.
Recommends and helps manage specialized nutrition support for patients when appropriate.
Communicates and coordinates with physician and other health care personnel as needed on the nutrition care plan of the patients.
Evaluates the need for medical nutrition therapy education and develops a plan based on learning needs and evaluates the effectiveness of the education process. Includes family or others in the process as identified necessary.
Evaluates the effectiveness and measures progress towards outcomes of medical nutrition therapy interventions. Reassesses nutrition care process and implements changes as indicated.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in nutrition or a related field from an accredited college or university
Washington State (DOH) Dietitian Certification required.
Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics)
Minimum Two (2) years clinical dietetics experience preferred
Outpatient medical nutrition therapy experience preferred
Board Certification in Oncology preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $34.46 - $49.60 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
