The clinical dietitian (RD) works under the supervision of leadership. The RD is responsible for provision of optimal nutritional care to patients identified in accordance with department standards of care. This is includes: assessing patients'' nutritional status utilizing all pertinent information; identifying nutrient requirements according to age specific and disease specific needs of patients; working with members of the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans for patients; providing orders for nutritional care as defined in Mosaic Life Care standard AN7030 in collaboration with providers; monitoring the effectiveness of nutrition interventions and revising these as needed and providing nutrition education based on assessment of individual learning needs. The RD functions as the nutrition expert within the facility and at Mosaic Life Care supported community events as appropriate. The RD participates in process improvement and quality initiatives. The RD Maintains competency and professional development related to nutrition trends, research, policy, scope and standards of practice.

- Bachelor''s Degree - ACEND-accredited (Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics) dietitian program or foreign equivalent - if completed (RD) exam for the first time, on or before December 31, 2023 - Required
- Master''s Degree - ACEND-accredited (Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics) dietitian program or foreign equivalent - if completed (RD) exam for the first time, on or after January 1, 2024 - Required

- Registered Dietician (RD) - Registration through Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics; maintain/complete 75 hours of continuing professional education (CPE) every 5 years - Required Upon Hire

- Driver''s License - Valid In State - Required Upon Hire
