  • Lead regional implementation and clinical operations of school-based mental health, substance abuse, and behavioral health services across campuses.
  • Translate district strategy into measurable regional outcomes, ensuring alignment with student achievement, engagement, and safety goals.

  • Oversee the full clinical service delivery continuum, including referral, intake, assessment, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and follow-up care.
  • Ensure fidelity to evidence-based practices, trauma-informed care, and compliance with all legal, ethical, and professional standards.
  • Monitor clinical documentation, EMR utilization, and service quality to ensure compliance, accuracy, and audit readiness.
  • Direct implementation of substance abuse programming, including prevention, early intervention, and recovery supports.
  • Analyze program data and outcomes to drive continuous improvement and inform strategic and operational decisions.
  • Lead crisis response efforts, including risk and threat assessments, safety

planning, stabilization, and post-crisis recovery.

  • Design and implement professional development and training to build staff clinical capacity and ensure licensure and CEU compliance.
  • Collaborate with district departments (e.g., Counseling, SEL, Special Education, MTSS) and campus leadership to coordinate student supports.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with community agencies, healthcare providers, and external stakeholders to expand service access.
  • Oversee care coordination, external referrals, and transition planning to ensure continuity of care for students and families.

  • Ph.D. from an accredited university preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in mental health services, including

leadership or supervisory experience required.

  • Experience working in a school-based or youth-serving environment.
  • Two or more years of direct experience with adolescent substance use and co-occurring disorders preferred.
  • Knowledge of adolescent development, mental health trends, and substance use prevention.
