The Clinical Director provides clinical supervision to and oversight for the Stetson School Assistant Clinical Director, clinicians, and clinical interns, including weekly supervision, review of paperwork and documentation, participation in Individual Service Plan meetings and case reviews, direct and indirect observation of clinical groups and therapy sessions, and job performance evaluations. The Clinical Director develops and provides oversight for the clinical program, develops clinical materials, provides staff training, participates in administrative meetings and committees, and participates in the administrative on-call system. This position does require the following: on-call coverage and requires clear and active MA LICSW or LMHC licensure.
Provide weekly clinical and administrative supervision for Assistant Clinical Director.Provide weekly clinical supervision for clinicians.Review clinical progress notes for clinicians as needed.Review and counter sign all clinical reports and major correspondence of clinicians.Conduct job performance evaluations for clinicians.On and as-needed basis attend Individual Service Plan (ISP) meetings.
Doctorate or Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling psychology, psychiatric nursing, or other field providing advanced training in therapy or counseling.Prior experience providing clinical supervision.Experience working with juvenile sexual offenders or troubled adolescents.
