Responsibilities
The Clinical Director assumes twenty-four-hour responsibility for planning and coordinating the clinical and nursing personnel aspects for the assigned patient care areas to assure quality patient care. The Clinical Director is an integral part of the Nursing Management team and as a team member assist with establishing the goals, philosophy, and standards of the department. The Clinical Director collaborates with physicians and department heads to assure that patient care needs as related to other departments/disciplines are met.

The range for the role is $120,206- $150,258 annually.
Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Physical Requirements: Travel to multiple facilities is required. Demonstrates physical and functional ability to perform full anatomical range of motion to accomplish tasks. The individual will be required to pull up or reposition patients in bed, lift supplies, push beds throughout the hospital, and perform external cardiac compressions. The individual must also be able to quickly maneuver through halls, stairways, and patient rooms in response to hospital emergencies. Interpretation of environmental input requires visual and auditory skills.
