Summary of Position:
The Clinical Director of Therapies is part of a dynamic team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about providing high quality, integrated care for patients who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
The Clinical Director of Therapies provides patient care and has direct supervisory responsibilities for Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Physical Therapist Assistants who provide care in Circle the City's Respite Centers. This is a consult service providing care to all service lines in Circle the City as deemed appropriate.
Essential duties:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
o Provide leadership, supervision, and mentorship to Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants and Occupational Therapists at all Circle the City locations
o Oversee recruitment, clinical onboarding, performance evaluation, and professional development to Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, and Occupational Therapists.
o Oversee Peer Review for Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists. Provide supervision (directly or through an appropriate designee within the department) and clinical feedback to Physical Therapist Assistants.
o Conduct periodic team and one-on-one meetings with the therapists to provide clinical support, performance feedback and professional development.
o Foster a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, collaboration and continuous learning.
o Collaborate with HR and administration in ensuring appropriate staffing, provider scheduling, and coordinating PTO, Holidays, Sick Time and Continuing Education Time-off.
o Manage the ordering and maintenance of appropriate supplies and new equipment in adherence to Circle the City Policies and Procedures
o Participate in the development of the annual budget and adherence to the budget throughout the fiscal year.
o Monitor and make appropriate modifications (as appropriate) regarding productivity, patient access, and operational performance
o Ensure efficient caseload management and appropriate resource allocation to meet organizational needs.
o Ensure all evaluations, treatment plans, progress reports, and discharge planning meet professional standards and organizational expectations
o Participate in direct patient care.
o Develop, track and analyze KPIs related to clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, productivity, access to care and program growth.
o Lead quality improvement initiatives designed to enhance patient outcomes, operational efficiency and patient access
o Monitor referral trends, caseload volumes, and departmental performance to support growth.
o Ensure departmental compliance with all federal state and local regulations
o Conduct quarterly chart audits and documentation reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory, accreditation, billing and reimbursement standards.
o In collaboration with Circle the City's Compliance leadership, maintain compliance with all applicable state practice acts, licensing regulations and Physical Therapy Board Standards.
o Identify opportunities for program development, service expansion, and increased patient engagement consistent with Circle the City's mission.
