What You’ll Do:

The Clinical Director supports all aspects of clinical operations, programming, and treatment services at their program. You’ll collaborate with the Executive Director and the Chief Clinical Officer to protect the integrity of Newport’s clinical model, and to enhance the quality and efficacy of the care we provide. Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Ensure alignment and authentic communication across all team members and services
  • Hire, train, supervise, and mentor clinical staff—helping them to grow while feeling supported and connected
  • Assist with complex cases to improve client engagement and treatment outcomes
  • Support the client and family experience through communication, empathy, and attention to their goals
  • Uphold the integrity of the program and fidelity to Newport’s clinical model, through continual assessment, documentation, and quality assurance initiatives
What Makes You a Great Fit:
  • Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or social work, with appropriate licensing
  • Two years or more of relevant clinical experience with adolescents, young adults, and families, including at least one year in a residential setting
  • A clinical approach that aligns with Newport’s multidisciplinary, integrated care
  • Compassionate and clear leadership style that brings out the best in people
  • Experience delivering culturally competent care for specific populations, such as LGBTQ+ and BIPOC
  • A problem-solver who can streamline processes and lean into opportunities
  • The courage and self-confidence to make hard decisions in a fast-paced environment

Compensation for this role ranges from $100,000-$129,000 annually depending on education and experience.

An individual’s pay rate within the posted range is determined by several factors, including skills, experience, education, and market conditions. Additionally, we consider internal equity to ensure fairness within our organization.
