Job Title:  Clinical Excellence Specialist                               

Job Summary:  The Clinical Excellence Specialist will serve as the highest level of clinical support for all aligner treatment plans for both internal and external customers. This role bridges clinical excellence, education, and commercial success, ensuring that aligner treatments are safe, effective, evidence-based, and aligned with company protocols. The Clinical Specialist supports doctors throughout the treatment lifecycle, contributes to training initiatives, and acts as a clinical ambassador for the brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provide clinical expertise and support to North American orthodontists and DSO’s on clinical issues related to aligner treatment plans and design protocols. 

2. Review, analyze, and optimize digital treatment plans (staging, attachments, IPR, biomechanics).

3. Support clinicians with troubleshooting, refinements, and complex cases.

4. Ensure clinical recommendations align with company protocols and evidence-based orthodontics.

5. Handle clinical communication with internal and external customers.

6. Handle sensitive customer situations, use problem solving and investigation skills to bring quick resolution.

7. Serve as a clinical resource for internal Angel Aligner team (i.e Sales and Integration teams, SAS and other as required).

8. Liaise with headquarter medical team to provide feedback/recommendations (using customer feedback and data) on treatment designs for the North American region.

9. Deliver clinical trainings, workshops, webinars, and lectures (online and in-person).

10. Develop and update educational materials, clinical guidelines, and best-practice resources.

11. Participates in study groups as facilitator and/or moderator as required by the NA team.

12. Monitor treatment outcomes and feedback to help improve clinical quality and consistency.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:                                                     

• Proven Orthodontics specialty degree, dental degree may be acceptable with proven orthodontic experience

• More than 4+ years of experience 

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

• Prior experience treating patients with aligners

• Proficient with Microsoft suite of products specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, etc. 

TRAVEL: 

This role will require international travel up to 20%
