12-month faculty position opening requiring clinical expertise in adult medical surgical care and onlineteaching experience appropriate for graduate education and leadership. These positions will be focusedprimarily within the clinical environment with the possibility of also teaching simulation. This positionrequires excellence in teaching pre-licensure clinical skills, practicum and theory courses in foundationaland medical surgical nursing practice. This includes but is not limited to teaching and providing service tothe College, academic community, and nursing profession.
Duties and Responsibilities
Clinical and didactic theory instruction in the Master's of Science in Nursing Direct Entry nursing program, Pleasant Prairie site. A commitment to continued development of excellence in teaching and service. Clinical instruction will take place in southeastern Wisconsin and northeastern Illinois.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Master's degree required.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
PhD or DNP or equivalent(preferred) eligibility for Wisconsin and Illinois licensure, certification in nursing education, and commitment to online graduate teaching. Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence and service. The candidate should be forward thinking and committed to preparing the next generation of nurses for excellence in practice.
