2. Incident & Risk Management - Manage and monitor incident reporting systems, support investigations, track actions arising from incidents and complaints, contribute to risk register maintenance, and support trend analysis. Track learning outcomes, support thematic summaries and learning feedback.
3. Clinical Audit & Effectiveness - Coordinate clinical audit activity, support data collection and reporting, monitor audit recommendations and help measure performance against quality indicators.
4. Stakeholder Liaison & Communication - Act as a point of contact for governance queries, working with operational teams, clinical colleagues, and external agencies to support case progression and shared understanding.
5. Governance Process Improvement & Assurance Support - Support the development and refinement of governance tools, policies, procedures, templates, reporting dashboards and processes, contributing to continuous improvement. Attendance at Stakeholder, Clinical Governance Framework Board meetings as and when required by the Clinical Governance Lead /Head of Clinical Governance.
6. Regulatory Compliance & Process Improvement - Support preparation for inspections, maintain accurate governance records and contribute to development of governance documentation, templates and quality improvement initiatives. Support preparation of documents for Regulatory Body Fitness to Practice Concern
7. Any other duty required by the line manager commensurate with the nature, level, and scope of the role.

Qualifications & Experience
Essential
• Experience in governance, quality assurance, safeguarding, risk management or regulated environments.
• Experience reviewing, interpreting and summarising complex information.
• Knowledge of incident reporting and investigation processes.
• Understanding of audit methods and quality improvement principles.
• Strong written communication skills including drafting concise summaries and investigation reports.
• Ability to organise workload, manage multiple cases and work to deadlines.
• Experience handling confidential or sensitive information.
• Confident in liaising with multidisciplinary colleagues and external agencies.
Desirable
• Experience in safeguarding, incident reporting, risk management or clinical governance.
• Experience of working within regulated healthcare environments.
