Job Summary and Qualifications
The Clinical Informatics Analyst (CIA) is responsible for providing ongoing support for corporate/division/facility Clinical Quality Informatics projects related to the electronic health record (EHR) and the Clinical Excellence quality agenda. Key components of this work include
The CIA is the key facility resource responsible for delivering the successful implementation of clinical informatics initiatives. They are responsible for coordinating the completion of project assessments parameter settings and assisting with the development of education/training materials. This individual participates in the company-wide community for CPOE, EBCD, and works with their division peers to ensure clinical informatics applications are well supported throughout the facility. The CIA is responsible for ensuring ongoing training, support, and refinement of clinical informatics, Meaningful Use initiatives, publically reported metrics, as well as additional support for clinical applications throughout the facility. Additional responsibilities will include any upgrades and applications as they are implemented.
