    Seeking a Dedicated nurse for our client to provide informatics support and expertise to frontline caregivers. Represent local and specialized nursing technology needs and advocate for automated solutions and enhancements at the enterprise level. Participate on digital project teams and serve as a central point of contact for their assigned locations. Collaborates with nursing, IT, ancillary, and operational departments to enhance the patient and caregiver experience and clinical outcomes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provides in-person support for caregivers related to the use and adoption of existing and new clinical technologies. Makes themselves available to respond to any needs, providing direction, consultation, and issue escalation or resolution. Assists with dissemination of technical communications related to clinical technology projects. Task 1
    • Serves as a central point of contact for the Nursing Institute to ensure continuity between the impact of technology rollouts and professional nursing practice and business operations. Continually works to improve the knowledge and skills of our caregivers related to clinical systems and process by identifying ongoing educational opportunities, knowledge gaps and trends that can be addressed through caregiver remediation and support.
    • Owns all project and assignment accountability to timelines, expectations, and outcomes through timely and accurate communication, issue escalation, and overall personal engagement and ownership. Engages in agile approaches for quality, iterative, and timely technology implementations.
    • Facilitates decision making with stakeholders. Participation in brainstorming sessions/groups. Supports and drives towards innovation and embraces team and agile design culture. Routinely engages clinical caregivers to validate, support, train and remediate knowledge deficits related to clinical systems and workflow adoption that directly impact practice and operations.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Education:

    • Completion of a recognized course of study from an accredited School of Nursing. BSN Preferred. In-depth knowledge of clinical nursing theory and practice.

    Certifications:

    • RN State of Florida

    Work Experience:

    • Three (3) years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or major medical center to include experience in an acute care setting required. Evidence of clinical information systems use and implementation required. Experience with implementation of clinical systems in the hospital and/or ambulatory clinical setting preferred. Previous experience with clinical leadership preferred

    Physical Requirements:

    • Requires the ability to sit and be stationary for prolonged periods of time, normal or corrected vision and manual dexterity sufficient to perform work on a personal computer.
    • Requires the ability to walk to various locations throughout the campus and function in a stressful environment.
    • May require some driving between CCHS facilities as needed and flexible hours when needed.
    • Light Work Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects. Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or
    • (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible.
    • Note: The constant stress and strain of maintaining a production rate pace, especially in an industrial setting, can be and is physically demanding of a worker even though the amount of force exerted is negligible.

    Personal Protective Equipment:

    • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
