As a Part Time Clinical Injury Prevention Specialist, Athletic Trainer, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Round Lake, IL.

Schedule:

This is a 20-hour-per-week, onsite position with flexibility in how the hours are structured, with the option to work 3-5 days per week. The selected schedule will be consistent from week to week and agreed upon in advance.

To ensure accessibility for employees across all shifts, at least one scheduled shift per week must include 2-3 hours of coverage that overlaps with the 5:00 PM-5:00 AM employee shift. This flexibility may be achieved through early-morning hours before 5:00 AM or evening hours after 5:00 PM.

Employee shift changes occur at approximately 5:00 AM and 5:00 PM, and scheduling that provides consistent interaction and visibility across shifts is preferred when possible.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement early intervention program consisting of performing comprehensive musculoskeletal examination, providing first aid per OSHA standards and education on injury prevention
• Perform physical demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and recommend preventive strategies
• Lead group and individual training on functional movement, job simulation, and injury prevention programs
• Collaborate with on-site medical and safety teams to coordinate care and recommend workplace countermeasures
• Document assessments, recommendations, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date record
• Participate in meetings and task forces
• Other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited professional Athletic Training education program
• Current BOC Certified Athletic Trainer
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in specialty areas (Ergonomic Specialty) preferred
• Experience in Occupational Health and Safety; Knowledge of current OSHA regulations preferred
• Experience in Ergonomics preferred

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $33.20 - $41.50 per hour. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
