Description

 What You Will Do
  • Project Management
    • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
    • Manage project communication
    • Execute project research
    • Partner in defining project tasks and resource requirements
    • Plan and schedule project timelines
    • Track project initiatives
    • Provide direction and support to project team
    • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
    • Manage project budgets
    • Conduct project evaluations and assessment of results
  • Quality and Process Improvement
    • Educate team about existing processes and resources
    • Analyze and re-design processes
    • Support and redesign institute standards and practices
  • Department Operations
    • Collaborates with multiple institute operations leaders to facilitate excellent communications, logistics and schedule coordination throughout the institutes
    • Provides executive support to Institute leadership
    • Responsible for data analysis which includes reporting results using collect, compile, analyze and format information for presentations and reports
    • Provides operational support to ensure the smooth flow of the institute
    • Oversees administrative support team with direct supervision in order to maintain high quality operations
    • Act as timekeeper for direct reports using Kronos
Additional Responsibilities

  • Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
 

Qualifications

 Education
  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
Work Experience
  • 3+ years Project management/coordination experience, preferably in health care setting. (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in implementing process improvement initiatives (Required proficiency)
  • Strong PC Skills including demonstrated expertise in Excel/PPT (Required proficiency)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Required proficiency)
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills (Required proficiency)
