Job Description:
Under the direction of the Administrator and supervision of the NATP Program Coordinator, the Instructor will provide hands-on training and supervision in accordance with Montana state NATP requirements.
Qualifications:
Active, unencumbered RN or LPN license in Montana
Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in a nursing home is required
Experience in supervising certified nursing assistants (preferred)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality
Job Skills and Duties:
Knowledge and experience working with culturally diverse and special populations.
Professional attitude and appearance to encompass confidential information.
Effectively operate office equipment and apply computer skills.
Understands the general principles of health education.
Assure compliance with regulatory agencies.
Responsibilities
· Set up and provide in-person lab instruction
· Supervise students during clinical rotations
· Evaluate student skills and competencies
· Maintain accurate attendance and clinical documentation
· Ensure compliance with Montana state regulations
· Communicate student progress with program leadership
