    Job Description

    Clinical Internship Position

    We are looking for Clinical Therapists who are compassionate, empathetic, and looking to grow and develop their clinical skills in a family structured and caring environment. We are a trauma-based agency, and you will be able to obtain your certification as a trauma specialist under clinical supervision that leads to independent licensure. The clinical therapist is responsible for providing therapeutic interventions to members and families, coordination of care with outside agencies and families, and help take members and their families through the healing process.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assessment and Diagnosis: Evaluating clients' mental health through interviews, observations, and tests.
    • Treatment Planning: Developing personalized treatment plans based on clients' specific needs and goals.
    • Therapeutic Interventions: Providing evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other therapeutic modalities.
    • Crisis Intervention: Offering immediate support and intervention during mental health crises.
    • Case Management: Coordinating care and services with other healthcare providers, social workers, and community resources.
    • Progress Monitoring: Regularly assessing clients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
    • Education and Advocacy: Educating clients and their families about mental health issues and advocating for clients' needs.
    • Documentation: Maintaining detailed and confidential records of clients' treatment plans, progress, and any changes.
    • Professional Development: Staying updated with the latest research, techniques, and continuing education in the field of mental health.
    • Ethical Practice: Adhering to ethical guidelines and maintaining client confidentiality at all times.

    Job Type: Part-time

    Pay: Reimbursement

    Expected hours: 20per week
