Our hospital client in Queens is seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Technologist with Blood Bank experience to join their team! This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled laboratory professional looking to work in a fast-paced hospital environment supporting critical patient care services.
Responsibilities Include:
Performing blood bank testing and procedures accurately and efficiently
Conducting compatibility testing, blood typing, and crossmatching
Maintaining compliance with hospital, state, and regulatory standards
Operating and maintaining laboratory instrumentation and equipment
Reviewing and documenting laboratory results with precision
Ensuring quality control and adherence to safety protocols
Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to support patient care
Requirements:
Valid NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist License REQUIRED
Associate’s Degree REQUIRED
Minimum 1 year of Clinical Laboratory experience REQUIRED
Blood Bank experience REQUIRED
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a high-volume hospital setting
