Role Overview As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist I, you will perform essential diagnostic testing and quality control procedures supporting accurate and timely patient results. This role includes moderate- to high-complexity testing, maintaining laboratory systems and equipment, prepping reagents, and contributing to a smooth, efficient laboratory workflow.
Key Responsibilities • Perform diagnostic testing and quality control procedures • Prepare reagents and accurately report laboratory results • Review and oversee moderate- to high-complexity testing • Monitor and maintain laboratory computer applications • Maintain equipment, instruments, and supply inventory • Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards • Work collaboratively within the laboratory and across clinical teams • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications Education - Required Associates degree in Medical Technology or related scientific field
Education - Preferred Bachelors degree in a related scientific field
Certification & Licensure - Required State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License
Experience - Required Clinical laboratory experience Minimum of four (4) months of experience performing laboratory testing
