    Join BayCare as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist I

    Location: St. Anthony's

    Facility: BayCare Health System, Laboratory Services - SAH

    Shift: Evenings | 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM

    Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite

    Weekend Work: Every Other Weekend

    Role Overview

    As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, you will support accurate and timely diagnostic services while ensuring compliance with laboratory standards, policies, and procedures.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Performing diagnostic testing and quality control procedures
    • Preparing reagents and reporting results according to established policies and procedures
    • Reviewing and overseeing moderate to high complexity laboratory testing
    • Maintaining laboratory equipment and supply inventory
    • Monitoring computer applications related to laboratory operations
    • Ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance in all testing activities
    • Performing other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Education

    Required:

    • Associate's degree in Medical Technology OR a related field

    Preferred:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field

    Experience

    Required:

    • Clinical laboratory experience
    • Minimum of four (4) months of related experience

    Licensure / Certification

    Required:

    • State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License
